3 Day, All Beginner & Intermediate Sessions Bundle

This Bundle includes (6) sessions on 3 consecutive Days. There will be a 1 hour break for lunch in between sessions.

The date on the Booking Page is for Day 1 and Days 2 and 3 will be the next days.

Session 1-1 Learning Objectives:

• The basics of MemorialDESIGNER's workspace, toolbars and buttons
• File operations: Open, Import/Export and Save
• Basic object selection, sizing, rotation and manipulation
• How to design a simple flat marker, color it and export it as a proof
• The difference between Group, Combine and Welding objects together
• How to quickly create a plottable version of the design

Time: 3 hours

Recommended Pre-requisites: None

Session 1-2 Learning Objectives:

• Design a companion slant marker from a template
• Adjust Text size, spacing and kerning
• Mirror text and panels
• Add artwork to the design
• Manipulate text on a curve
• Adjust line thickness for sadnblast
• Weld artwork that overlaps panels
• Reverse facings (which name is on which side)
• Import designs from other programs

Time: 3 hours

Recommended Pre-requisites: Session 1-1 or basic knowledge of CorelDRAW

Session 2-1 Learning Objectives:

• Design a companion monument from scratch
• Create panels quickly
• Rotate and center objects
• Move objects to specific X or Y coordinates
• Add artwork, a ceramic photo, vases, flowers and a background
• Customize Quick Import buttons (backgrounds, vases, flowers, ceramics)

Time: 3 hours

Recommended Pre-requisites: Session 1-1 and 1-2 or basic knowledge or MemorialDESIGNER

Session 2-2 Learning Objectives:

• Digitize/trace artwork found online
• Fix hardlines in designs that are too thick/thin
• Draw custom artwork by hand
• Convert outlines to objects, weld, contour
• Kern text and make it follow a curve/path"

Time: 3 hours

Recommended Pre-requisites: Sessions 1-1, 1-2 & 2-1 or basic knowledge of MemorialDESIGNER

Session 3-1 Learning Objectives:

• Modify a design that is too big to fit the designated space
• Swap part of a piece of artwork for another
• Elevate current designs from good to great

Time: 3 hours

Recommended Pre-requisites: All Beginner Sessions or working knowlege of MemorialDESIGNER tools

Session 3-2 Learning Objectives:

• Create a custom background for proofs
• Trim off part of a design quickly
• Create a custom shape from the internet
• Create a custom shapre from scratch
• Resize an entire layout with artwork to a smaller size
• Quickly add and digitize artwork from the internet
• Change the finish of parts of a design
• Set up a file system to Save, Open and Find files quickly
